About DAN

I was raised by a single mom. She was a nurse who worked the night shift, yet somehow still was able to raise me and my four siblings during the day. She was the ultimate model of hard work for me, raising us, providing for us, and still finding time to make all my baseball games.
Baseball connected my mom and me. It also kept me out of trouble, paid for my college, and still today provides me with a network of friends who are like family. Once my son, Donovan, was old enough to start playing, I started giving back to the game, coaching his teams over the years as he’s grown to love the game like I do.
Coaching has become my passion, and I’ve discovered that it goes hand-in-hand with what I do for financial professionals every day. Seeing others succeed is important to me, and I’m driven to do whatever I can to help that happen. As a coach in both sports and my professional life, I think of myself as your biggest cheerleader when times are good, and an always-available, trusted counsel and support for those days when the hits just aren’t dropping for you. I’m always rooting for other people.

When I’m not helping my financial professionals succeed, you can find me spending time with my family in Petaluma, California, where my wife, Sasha, and I are raising our three children, Donovan, Elle, and Genevieve. If you’re ever in the area, let me know and we can check out one of the great restaurants that Petaluma has to offer. Just know that we’ll probably need to swing by a sports practice for one of the kids first. The coaching never ends.
